Hello, I wrote a lil something about myself. Check it out! Click on “About Me” on the top navigation bar.

Everyone needs to talk to someone about their feelings. This person could be a friend, a religious leader, parent, or even a hired professional. I know that when I try and contain my feelings, I eventually find myself in a nervous breakdown. So I rely on my close friends to just let me vent so I can carry on with life as normal.

I haven’t touched my bot lately. I kinda got caught  up somewhere between ordering new parts and what being constantly doing something. However, the other day, I did order some stuff that I needed to complete the project. As of right now, I’m actually thinking about building two bots.
One will be powered by the arduino I purchased some time ago. The other will be powered by a spare computer I have laying around. I plan on making that one a pretty cool one.

In case I forget, I’m gonna post what I want from the computer based model:

• Linux powered
• WiFi enabled
• Live webcam feed
• Webserver to display stats
• LCD – aux display
• Programmable interface –> arduino
• sensor pack
  • light
  • temperature
  • infrared
• carry a decent payload (50 pounds)
• voice synthesizer (recognition maybe???)
• parallel port interfacing

I don’t expect to get this all done in one night, but maybe by the end of my senior year. I’m gonna start dabbeling with the circuity today or tomorrow in terms of programming the paraell port under linux. And I’ll start looking for parts as well. I have a few printers that I can pull some motors out of and such… it should be fun.

I’ll post pictures – I promise as soon as it gets interesting… maybe video?

Hey everyone,
I’m sorry for the long downtime today. I went to access the server today at school and was unable to. My IP address actually changed for the first time in 6 months. So I had to switch some stuff around.

For some reason, most people I’ve talked to are able to see the site as am I. There are a few reports that it is not working… I’ll give it a day to fully register in the DNS server over at 1and1.

Everything’s just dandy here.

Ok, so I did fall down the emotional hill the other day… but I’m ok now that I talked it out with my great group of friends.
