I decided some while back, that running was not fun in itself. So I gave running a name and invited some friends to join me as I ran from my house and back – 1.59 miles each direction.
I did this for a few reasons:
So, I figured why not. I bought some Gatorades and found some bottled water, put them in a cooler with ice and invited a bunch of guys on the Shuffle.
Upon reaching my house, the lineman decided to set a goal of improvement for next week. It should be good. It’s just one of those little things that helps in the end. Maybe this could push us that extra inch to make it to the State Championship game?

Unique visitors to post: 1So after a long week of playing catch-up, I was forced into a trying week that has, so far, tested me beyond believe.
Mom is out of town for a conference in Boston. She left Sunday morning and will return tomorrow night around 9pm.
Here is a glimpse of what I’ve had to deal with.
In my mother’s absence, Dad’s been home working and taking care of my sick sister who has stayed home from school for the past week due to the flu. Meanwhile, I have to help run my mom’s religious education classes on Monday night, make copies of legal stuff that my dad needs at AHS, and then get bread for lunches the next day.
Today, I had to be at school at 7am for football conditioning. Then actually going to class is an important aspect of my day. After that, I had a lengthy chat with my guidance counselor about getting ready to possibly to be considered by colleges. Then I went to try and understand Physics, but I failed at that. I had to pick up my sister at 4:30 from track practice. I picked up Gatorades at Walmart for the Lineman Shuffle I have planned for tomorrow after weight-lifting, delivered a client’s computer, and dropped off my truck to be serviced by the mechanic. I sat down to do homework at 8pm and I just now “finished.” My Physics teacher will be delighted to explain stuff to me tomorrow
.
That’s been the last couple of days. I really just want to get school done with and enjoy the summer as best as I know how.
Oh well… only 23 days left of school…
I will also be playing piano at St. Stephen, Martyr Parish on Saturday at the 4pm Mass. It’s a nice little gig if I do say so myself. If you wanna come, I invite you. The more, the better! haha – OR – you can just sit and listen for my mistakes too, if that please you!
Wishing well to all those that need it,

Unique visitors to post: 1Well today was the day that I finally upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04!
Although it’s practically in it’s infancy, there are still quite a few number of bugs.
So far I’m unable to:
I am also disappointed that:
But what can I ask for? It’s free and will eventually get fixed. I wish I had the time to sit down and hack the kernel for my own use.
Happy Birthday Rebekah!
Good luck,

Unique visitors to post: 4This has been the longest week known to man!
Anywho, hopefully this weekend provides me with an
opportunity to relax and work on my bot a bit… I think I found
the library I need to start messing with programming and developing the
relay board – so it’s only a matter of time.
Let the Spring/Summer Project of 2009 begin!
