That is totally false in it’s entirety.
I have a job as well as football work outs that I should attend if I ever want to get better as a player and have some remote chance of seeing the field come season.
My work schedule is wrapped around my football schedule.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have football at 2pm. I therefore work from 7am to 1:30pm. Then I attend football workout from 2pm to 5:30/6 pm.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I typically have football from 8am to 12pm meaning that I work from 12:30pm to 3pm. These days I do not put in a lot of hours, which really hurts my paycheck.
Fridays I have nothing but work from 7am to 3pm.
My weekends are spent cutting the four lawns that need to be cut:
And yet, I do nothing?!?
Apparently people are having problems with me actually working for an employer. Here’s how I am hired to work. My boss assigns me to a task, I complete it, I get paid, and everyone’s happy at the end of the day. I am not paid to do favors for impatient and demanding people. If, I find myself with ‘free time’ during my job, I am willing to help do small favors around the school. But gosh, I’m sorry I can’t do everything for everyone else that haven’t hired me.
When I get home at night, I eat, shower, sleep. I may find a few minutes to blog, read, practice piano, or work on my robotics project, but I am limited in what I can do if I need to function for the next day. Sometimes I come home and do the dishes in the sink, my laundry and have to make my own meal so my mom doesn’t have to worry about that.
When I sleep, I don’t sleep well, because there is a terrible thing called stress which may play a factor and my muscles start cramping which can be severely painful. But what do I know??
So, if upon completion of reading this you can still say that I do nothing, please let me know. There is a comment box at the end of this post, use it. I’d love some feedback on the over abundance of free time that I sit and twiddle my thumbs all day. Please feel free.

Hey, If anyone knows of someone who needs to rid of a powered wheelchair, please let me know. I need one to build my robot. I have some time where I can build everything but the drivetrain, but I will need one fairly soon (end of Julyish I'm hoping!!). I will dismantle it to look something like this which gives access to two powerful motors and a mighty robotic base. You may email me at kevin@spicyomelet.com if you DO know of any such situation. I am willing to pay up to $100.
