What? When did this happen? Where did my summer go??!?

I’ll admit I haven’t left school since class let out… I’ve been working there and working out for football all summer long. I did have the opportunities to escape to my aunt and uncle’s lake house for two weeks (which was nice.)

I’ve gotten most of my robotic equipment together, I just need to sit down one weekend and build. I’ll update my page in a bit with pictures and what not.

I have a summer reading assignment to finish up as well as get school uniform shorts… so much to do… so little time.

Well the swelling has gone down a little bit… and now it’s itching a bit…

My day consisted of going to church, cutting some grass, going to a family party, then sleeping pretty much for the rest of the day due to my drug induced stupor … benedryhl…

Well today was an interesting day. I went into work and was in-charge of painting the bathrooms in the football concession stand. While refilling my pan with paint in the five gallon bucket outside one of the restrooms, a bee flew in between my glasses and face and stung me multiple times. I swat the bee away knocking my hat and glasses off. I proceed to fly home and take some benedryl immediately. It is now 11pm and it is getting worse.

So yeah … that’s my pity party…

My mom went under the knife today for a minor surgery. She will be disabled for 6 weeks. Several family members and friends have helped out a tremendous amount by stopping by and dropping off food and what not. She is in bed right now fighting the effects of the pain-killers and the anesthetics (she never does well with that.)

That’s pretty much my day. I did update the Robot page… I made some purchases today and hopefully will be putting something physically together by the weekend. Stay posted. I’ll take lots of pictures.
