About me – the voice of kw

I’ve been told a lot of mystery surrounds me when it comes to who I am. Maybe this will clear it up a bit.

My name is Kevin, I currently am a Freshman at Purdue. I am the owner/operator of spicyomelet.com as well – which functions as a personal blog and a place to put junk. But that’s besides the point.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy playing football and wrestling for my high school. I play defensive line for the football team – I’m fast when I want to be and fairly strong for my size – other than that, I have no real ability. I wrestle in the 189 weight class and I am able to hold my own against guys who are 15 pounds heavier than me. (I found myself weighting 175 during the season.)

I am a major computer geek – hoping to major in something interesting like computer engineering or robotics. I have a passion to support open source projects namely Linux and software compatible with it. Who ever programs under the GPL is a saint in my book. I have used over 10 different computer programming/scripting languages – but I like C the best.

I participate in many different clubs and activities when I can find time. I play piano (or try to anyways ) in liturgical settings at school and at my parish. I also play tuba/baritone for my high school’s band and sometimes for special occasions at church.

Personal Life

I have a pretty loving family. My parents adopted me at birth and have given me the support necessary to live a decent life so far. I have three amazing sisters whom I love very much, even though we may become aggressive towards one another.

I am very blessed to have a good core of friends. They are there to provide the necessary ‘tech’ support when I need it. I need it often to make it through life. Without them, I’d probably be insane.
