Alex (guitar) and Kevin (keyboard) have been playing their instruments for a total of 20 years and have experimented with various types of music including rock, blues, jazz, and liturgical hymns. Each one brings a different sound to the table.

In early 2010, Alex and Kevin started JKSounds as a side project band focusing on lounge/jazz music. Heavily reliant on improvisation, no two performance are the same.

Over the last 4 years in high school the two have become integral parts in the music/theatre department as musicians. Performance experience has been developed in the most rigorous and demanding settings.
