So yea, summer has come and gone.

I’ve been working for Merillville Public Works and have had a great time there. I have weed-wacked around town, painted drains, washed trucks, picked up some road kill, and cleaned storm drains for the town. These little jobs, at least by me, were taken for granted until I had to one day do them. MPW does a lot of good stuff that people don’t realize.

So I’m off to Purdue on Sunday. I am attending an orientation/adjustment program called Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) for this coming week 8/16 to 8/20 or something like that. Class actually starts on the 23rd. First-year Engineering seems a little daunting, but I think I should be up for the task.

Still got a few things to pack up… I have to figure out what to do with the server that hosts this site and churchmananimalhospital.com and my other personal affects. I was looking into a managed solution / colocation services, but haven’t had much luck…

Anywho here we go…
