Unique visitors to post: 1Well boy and girls, this is it – that is the second to last day of school for most seniors.
I wanted to take time to thank my class, the graduating class of 2010, for the good times, the bad times, and the just plain okay times. They have all contributed to my insignificant, yet important to none other but me, life. I have learned a lot about people in these short four years. Looking back, it was YOU who has made me who I am today. For better, or worse.
I won’t apologize for anything I’ve done nor will I take any further credit for things that I have done. It all has worked out in the perspective of the universe… in some dimension. However, anything that I do from this moment on and in the future is fair game.
I would like to see everyone at class reunions and make sure that you are still having a good time existing on this fair planet – but please send a change of address notice if you decide to vacate another solid mass in space.
This is a bittersweet moment – I promise I won’t get too emotional, but I have gotten to know some people better than others and have truly found out how amazing you truly are (in either capacity). I will miss everyone, unless you’re going to be my room mate, I won’t see you everyday like I havc grown accustomed to. But we will survive.
This post might seem a little morose… Good! haha
Well Class of 2010, it’s been fun… now I guess we are the class of 2014?? There’s a biblical quote that is addressed to incoming collegiate freshman: “for dust you are and to dust you will return.” – Genesis 3:19 But remember, when you are a sophomore in college, I believe we all become at least a small pile of dust…. Seniors would be likened to a rock I guess….
I hope to be marching across the stage in the hot, sweltering, moist, humid, not-really-that-big gym on Sunday, June 6th signifying that I made some sort of positive progress in my life. We’ll see
